Correct Answer - Option 2 : 24 days

Given:

3 men and 6 women complete a work in 4 days.

The efficiency of men is twice the efficiency of women.

Formula used:

Total work = Efficiency × Time

Calculation:

According to the question, we have

The efficiency of man = 2 × The efficiency of woman

So, (The efficiency of man/The efficiency of woman) = 2 : 1

Now, according to the formula, we have

Total work = (3 × Efficiency of a man + 6 × Efficiency of a woman) × 4

⇒ (3 × 2 + 6 × 1) × 4

⇒ 12 × 4

⇒ 48

So, time is taken by 2 women to completes the same work = {48/(1 × 2)} days

⇒ 24 days

∴ 2 women can complete the work in 24 days.
