Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : 304 kg

Given:

The average weight of 60 employees = 68 kg

The average reduced = 4 kg

Formula Used:

Average = Sum of total observations/Total number of observations

Calculation:

According to the question, we have

The total weight of 60 employees = 60 × 68

⇒ 4080 kg

Now, after one employee left the company, the average reduced by 4 kg

The average weight of 59 employees = 68 - 4 = 64 kg

The total weight of 59 employees = 59 × 64 = 3776 kg

The weight of an employee who left the company = (4080 - 3776) kg

⇒ 304 kg

∴ The weight of an employee who left the company is 304 kg.
