Minto serving as Governor-General of Canada from 1898 to 1904.

Curzon

In January 1899 he was appointed Viceroy of India.

He has created a Peer of Ireland as Baron Curzon of Kedleston, in the County of Derby, on his appointment.

In 1901, he founded the Imperial Cadet Corps or ICC.

Curzon became Assistant Private Secretary to Salisbury in 1885, and in 1886 entered Parliament as Member for Southport in south-west Lancashire

Chelmsford

Chelmsford was born on 12 August 1868, London, United Kingdom.

Viceroy and Governor-General of India from 4 April 1916 – 2 April 1921.

On 9 April 1905, he succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford upon his father's death and in July 1905 accepted his appointment as the Governor of Queensland in Australia.

He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire on 4 December 1917.

Irwin

Lord Irwin was born on 16 April 1881, Powderham Castle, United Kingdom

On April 3, 1926, Lord Irwin was appointed 30th Viceroy and Governor-General of India. This was the most tumultuous period for the politics of India.

Irwin was a senior British Conservative politician and diplomat of the 1930s.
