Correct Answer - Option 2 : 5 m

Given:

The length of bridges = 600 m and 325 m

Time is taken to cross bridges = 110 sec and 60 sec

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation:

Let the length of the train be L.

According to the question, we have

(600 m + L)/110 = (325 m + L)/60

⇒ (600 m + L) × 60 = (325 m + L) × 110

 36000 m + 60 L = 35750 m + 110 L

⇒ 110 L - 60 L = (36000 - 35750) m

⇒ 50L = 250 m

⇒ L = 5

∴ The length of the train is 5 m.
