The logic followed is:

Given arithmetic progressive series: 6, 10, 14, _ _ _ _ _

we can see a common difference = 4

First-term = 6 

To find nth term of an AP is, Tn = a + (n - 1)d

Thus 17th term in this series ⇒ T17 = 6 + (17 - 1)4

T17 = 6 + (16)4

T17 = 6 + 64

T17 = 70

Hence, the correct answer is "70".
