Given Ratio of ages = 3 : 5 : 8

Let;

Age of Ramu = 3P

Age of Ranjeet = 5P

Age of Naresh = 8P

According to question:

Five years ago;

Age of Ramu = (3P - 5)

Age of Ranjeet = (5P - 5)

Age of Naresh = (8P - 5)

Ramu + Ranjeet + Naresh = 65

⇒ (3P - 5) + (5P - 5) + (8P - 5) = 65

⇒ 16P - 15 = 65

⇒ 16P = 65 + 15 = 80

⇒ P = 5

So, 

Age of Ramu = 3P = 3 × 5 = 15 years

Age of Ranjeet = 5P = 5 × 5 = 25 years

Age of Naresh = 8P = 8 × 5 = 40 years

Hence, "15, 25, 40" is the correct answer.
