Correct Answer - Option 1 : 02:00 a.m.

We know, Angle made by hour hand if minute hand is kept at 12 in 12 hours = 360º

So, Angle made by hour hand  if minute hand is kept at 12 in 1 hour = 360º ÷ 12 = 30º

Therefore Angle made by hour hand  if the minute hand is kept at 12 in 2 hours = 30 × 2 = 60º

So, the time at which the smaller angle made by the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock will be exactly 60 degrees will be only possible when the minute hand is at '12' and the hour hand is kept at '2'.

Hence, "2:00 a.m." is the correct answer.
