Given:

The surface area of the sphere = 1386 cm2

Formula Used:

Surface area of sphere = 4 × πr2

Volume of sphere = (4/3) × πr3

Calculation:

Surface area of sphere = 4 × πr2

⇒ 1386 = 4 × (22/7) × r2

⇒ r2 = 1386 × (7/88)

⇒ r2 = 63 × (7/4)

⇒ r = 21/2

Volume of sphere = (4/3) × πr3

⇒ (4/3) × (22/7) × (21/2)3

⇒ (4/3) × (22/7) × (441/4) × (21/2)

⇒ 11 × 441

⇒ 4851 cm3

The volume of the sphere is 4851 cm3.
