Correct Answer - Option 2 : 9:16:15 PM

A watch gains 5 secs in 4 mins.

So, the watch gains (5 × 15) seconds in (4 × 15) minutes i.e, 75 seconds in 60 minutes or 1 hour.

Time gap between 8 AM to 9 Pm is 13 hours.

So, the watch will gain (13 × 75) seconds in 13 hours, which is 975 seconds.

975 seconds = 16 minutes 15 seconds

So, the watch will show 9:16:15 PM at 9 PM.

Hence, ‘9:16:15 PM’ is the correct answer.
