Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : 3 / 55

Given:

Total number = 12

Calculation:

Total possible arrangements = (12 – 1)!

⇒ Total possible arrangements = 11!

Number of outcomes according to the seating arrangement required = 3! × (10 - 1)!

⇒ Probability = (3! × 9!) / 11!

⇒ Probability = 3 / 55

Probability of those three friends seating together is 3/ 55

Number of arrangements in circular table = (n – 1)!
