    • Sardar Singh, popularly known as Sardara Singh, is a professional hockey player and occupies a half position at the centre.
    • Sardar became the youngest player to captain the Indian team when he led the team in the 2008 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.
    • He made his debut for India in the junior team during India's tour of Poland in 2003-04.
    • He made his debut against Pakistan in the year 2006.
    • He also plays for his home state of Haryana. Apart from this, Sardar Singh also played for Chandigarh Dynamos in the inaugural season of the Premier League in 2005.

    • Charanjit Singh is a former field hockey player from India.
    • He captained the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
