Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : 50%

Given :

In an exam A scored 33% fewer marks than B and C scored 34% more marks than B

Formula used :

If there are 2 values X and Y and Y > X

So X will be [(Y - X)/Y] × 100 per cent less than Y

Calculations :

Let the marks of B in the exam be 100

A's marks = 100 - 33% of 100    (A scored 33% less than B)

⇒ 67

C's marks = B's score + 34% of B's score

C's score = 100 + 34

C's score = 134 marks

Required per cent = [(134 - 67)/134] × 100

⇒ (67/134) × 100

⇒ 50%

∴ Option 2 will be the correct choice.
