Correct Answer - Option 3 : 155

Given:

The linear equation in two variables x and y,

31x + 124y = k   ------ (1)

Calculation:

In this type of question we go through the given option.

Let,

The coefficient of x and y  will be 1.

And,

Putting the value of k in equation (1)

⇒ 31x + 124y = 103

Then,

⇒ 31 × 1 + 124 × 1 = 103

⇒ 155 ≠ 103

L.H.S ≠ R.H.S , K ≠ 103

Again,

Taking, K = 134

⇒ 31 × 1 + 124 × 1 = 134

⇒ 155 ≠ 134

L.H.S ≠ R.H.S , K ≠ 134

Again,

Taking, K = 155

⇒ 31 × 1 + 124 × 1 = 155

⇒ 155 = 155

L.H.S = R.H.S , K = 155

Again,

Taking, k = 72

⇒ 31 × 1 + 124 × 1 = 72

⇒ 155 ≠ 72

L.H.S ≠  R.H.S , K ≠ 72

So,

We can see that k = 155 is satisfying the given equation for the integer valued solution.
