Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 21600

Given:

Raj's investment = 20% more than Monu's investment

Monu's investment = 10% less than Ram's investment

Total sum of their investment = Rs. 59600

Calculation:

Let Ram's investment be 100 units

Then Monu's investment = (100 - 10)% of 100

⇒ 90% × 100

⇒ 90 units

And Raj's investment = (100 + 20)% of 90

⇒ 120% of 90

⇒ 108 units

Sum of their investment = Rs. 59600

⇒ (100 + 90 + 108) units = Rs. 59600

⇒ 298 units = Rs. 59600

⇒ 1 unit = Rs. 200

⇒ 108 units = Rs. 21600

Raj's investment = 108 units

⇒ Rs. 21600

∴ The amount that  Raj invested was Rs. 21600.
