Given∶

Dhoni invested Rs. 15,000.

Total profit = Rs. 1000

Out of total profit, Dhoni gets Rs. 500

Virat gets Rs. 300.

a∶b can be written as ax and bx, where x is a positive integer.

Calculation∶

Total profit = Rs. 1000

Dhoni gets = Rs. 500

Virat gets = Rs.300

So, Raina's gets = 1000 - (500 + 300) = Rs. 200

Now, Ratio of profit shaaring = 500 ∶ 300 ∶ 200 = 5 ∶ 3 ∶ 2

Let their investments be 5x, 3x and 2x respectively.

Then, 5x = 15000

⇒ x = 3000

Then, Raina's investment = 2x = 2 × 3000 = Rs. 6000
