Correct Answer - Option 2 : 20.30, 2.66

Given:

A museum room is to accommodate 80 persons.

It should be done in such a way that every person gets 3.3 m2 of floor and 8.8 m3 of space.

The length of the room is 13 m

Formula used:

Area = Length × Breadth

Volume = Length × Breadth × Height

Calculation:

Let the breadth and height of the room be B & H respectively.

Then,

13 × B = 80 × 3.3

⇒ B = 20.30 (approx)

Now, total volume of the room is equal to total persons multiplied by volume occupied by one person

So,

13 × 20.3 × H = 8.8 × 80

⇒ H = 2.66 (approx)

Breadth and width are 20.30 m and 2.66 m.
