Correct Answer - Option 2 : 693

Given:

The sum of three consecutive odd numbers is 27.

Calculation:

Let the three consecutive odd numbers be x, (x + 2) and (x + 4).

So, Sum of the three consecutive odd numbers = x + (x + 2) + (x + 4)

According to the question,

27 = x + (x + 2) + (x + 4)

⇒ 3x + 6 = 27

⇒ 3x = 27 - 6

⇒ 3x = 21

⇒ x = 21/3

⇒ x = 7

So, The product of the three consecutive odd numbers = x × (x + 2) × (x + 4)

⇒ x × (x + 2) × (x + 4)

⇒ 7 × (7 + 2) × (7 + 4)

⇒ 7 × 9 × 11

⇒ 693

∴ The product of the three consecutive odd numbers is 693.
