Given∶

Bill puts 10 hens for 7 months.

Elan puts 12 hens for 5 months.

Ambani puts 15 hens for 3 months.

Rent of the farm = Rs.175

Formula Used∶

Basics of ratios.

Calculation∶

Required ratio,

⇒ Bill ∶ Elan ∶ Ambani = 10 × 7 ∶ 12 × 5 ∶ 15 × 3

⇒ 2 × 7 ∶ 12 × 1 ∶ 3 × 3

⇒ 14 ∶ 12 ∶ 9

Sum of the ratio = 14 + 12 + 9 = 35

So, amount that Ambani should pay = 175 × 9/35 = Rs. 45

∴ Ambani pay Rs.45 as his share of rent.
