Given

The Raman earned Rs. 800 in 20 days

Average income of Raman for the first four days = Rs. 40

Formula Used 

Average Income = (Total income/Number of days)

Calculation

Income for first four days = 4 × 40 = 160

Now, it is given that the Raman earned Rs. 800 in 20 days.

Total income of the remaining 16 days = 800 – 160 =  Rs. 640

Average income of last 16 days = 640/16 = Rs. 40

∴ Average income of the remaining days is Rs. 40
