Correct Answer - Option 4 : 18

Given:

Length of the train = 250 m

Time is taken by train to cross the tree = 50 seconds

Formula Used:

Distance = Speed × Time

1m/s = 18/5 km/hr

Calculation:

Speed of the train = lenght of train/ Time taken by train

Speed of the train = 250/50 ⇒ 5 m/s

Converting the m/s to km/hr

⇒ 5 m/s × 18/5 = 18 km/hr

∴ The speed of the train is 18km/hr
