Given:

Marks scored in English is 95

Marks scored in Maths is 80

Scored total percentage is 85%

Calculations:

Let the total marks in Hindi be z

Total marks scored by the student is 85% of 400

⇒ (85/100) × 400

⇒ (17/20) × 400

⇒ 340 marks

Total marks scored in three subjects is

⇒ 95 + 80 + 75

⇒ 250

Marks scored in Hindi is

Hindi = Total marks - Total marks scored in three subjects is

⇒ z = 340 – 250

⇒ z = 90 marks

The value of z is 90 marks

∴ The marks scored in Hindi is 90 marks
