\(\frac{{{{(3.5)}^3} + .125}}{{{{(3.5)}^2} - 1.75 + .25}}\)

Concept used:

a3 + b3 = (a + b)(a2 - ab + b2)

Calculation:

\(\frac{{{{(3.5)}^3} + .125}}{{{{(3.5)}^2} - 1.75 + .25}}\)

Here,

a = 3.5

b = 0.5

⇒ {(a)3 + (b)3}/(a + b)(a2 - ab + b2)

⇒ {(a + b)(a2 - ab + b2)}/(a2 - ab + b2)

⇒ a + b

⇒ 3.5 + 0.5

⇒ 4

∴ The value of \(\frac{{{{(3.5)}^3} + .125}}{{{{(3.5)}^2} - 1.75 + .25}}\) is 4.
