Correct Answer - Option 2 : 12

Given

A is two years older than B who is twice as old as C.

The total of the ages of A, B and C be 27

Calculation

Let age of c be x

⇒ Age of B = 2x

⇒ Age of A = 2x + 2

⇒ x + 2x + 2x + 2 = 27

⇒ 5x = 25

⇒ x = 5

∴ age of A is 4 × 2 + 2 = 12 years
