Given:

Average age of 10 persons = 32 years 

Average age of 11 persons including instructor = 34 years

Formula used:

Average age = Sum of the ages of persons/No of persons 

Calculation:

Total age of 10 persons = 32 years × 10 = 320 years

Total age of 11 persons including instructor = 34 years × 11 = 374

∴ The age of instructor = 374 - 320 = 54 years
