Correct Answer - Option 3 : 18 cm

Given:

The area of a trapezium = 540 cm2

The length of its parallel sides are 35 cm and 25 cm

Formula Used:

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × Sum of parallel sides × Height

Calculation:

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × Sum of parallel sides × Height

⇒ 540 = 1/2 × (35 + 25) × Height

⇒ Height = 18 cm

∴ The perpendicular distance between parallel side is 18 cm.
