Correct Answer - Option 4 : 392 cm2

Given:

Perimeter of square = 56 cm

Formula used:

Perimeter of square = 4 × side

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Calculation:

As, Perimeter of square = 56 cm

⇒ 4 × side = 56 cm

⇒ Side of square = 56/4 = 14 cm

Now, Length of rectangle = 2 × 14 = 28 cm

And, breadth of rectangle = 14 cm

⇒ Area of rectangle = 28 × 14 = 392 cm2

∴ The area of the rectangle is 392 cm2
