Correct Answer - Option 4 : 13/10

Given

Numerator is decreased by 10%

Denominator is increased by 22%

Calculation

Let the original fraction is x/y

According to question

[x - 10% of x]/[y + 22% of y] = 117/122

⇒ (90x/100)/(122y/100) = 117/122

⇒ 90x/122y = 117/122

⇒ x/y = (117 × 122)/(122 × 90)

⇒ x/y = 13/10

∴ Original fraction is 13/10
