Correct Answer - Option 4 : 2 ∶ 3

Given:

The ratio of present ages of two sisters = 1 ∶ 2

The ratio of ages of two sisters 5 years before = 1 ∶ 3

Calculation

Let the present age of two sister x and 2x

According to question,

⇒ (x - 5)/(2x - 5) = 1/3

⇒ 3x - 15 = 2x - 5

⇒ x = 10

So, ratio of their ages after 10 years = x + 10 ∶ 2x + 10 = 20 ∶ 30 = 2 ∶ 3

∴ The required answer is 2 ∶ 3
