A bucket contains 8 blue and 7 green balls.If two balls are drawn randomly without replacement then what is the probability that the both balls drawn are blue.

Correct Answer - Option 3 : 4/15

Given 

Bucket contains :

8 Blue balls 

7 Green balls

Concept used

P(Event) = Favourable outcomes /Total outcomes

Calculation

Blue balls = 8

Green balls = 7

Total Balls = 15

If Blue ball is drawn 

Blue balls remaining = 7

Total Balls = 14

P(Both balls are blue) = (8/15) × (7/14)

⇒ 4/15

∴ 4/15 is the feasible probability.
