Correct Answer - Option 2 : 440

Given:

Area of adjacent faces = 88 cm2, 40 cm2 and 55 cm2

Formula used:

The volume of cuboid = √(Area of face 1 × Area of face 2 × Area of face 3)

Calculation:

Area = l × b = 88 cm2,

Area = b × h = 40 cm2,

Area = l × h = 55 cm2

Multiply all, we get

(lbh)2 = 88 × 40 × 55

Volume of box = √(88 × 40 × 55) cm3

⇒ 11 × 8 × 5

⇒ 440 cm3

∴ The volume of the box is 440 cm3.
