Correct Answer - Option 3 : 40

Given:

Total amount = Rs. 60

Number ratio (1 : 50 : 25) = 3 : 5 : 8

Calculation:

Ratio of values = 3 : 5/2 : 8/4

⇒ 6 : 5 : 4

Total value = 15 ratio

A.T.Q

15 ratio = Rs. 60

⇒  1 ratio = Rs. 4

Value of 50 paisa coins = 4 × 5 = Rs. 20

Number of 50 paisa coins = 20 × 2 = 40

∴ The answer is 40
