Correct Answer - Option 5 : None of these

Given that:

Anu and Daskh are equal investments and Taru invested 1/6 of the total money.

Total profit = Rs. 7200

Formula:

Profit = time × money

The investment ratio is equal to profit ratio

Calculation:

Let the total investment was Rs. 12x

According to the question,

Investment of Taru = 1/6 of 12x = Rs. 2x

Investment of Anu and Daksh are equal i.e.  (12x – 2x )/2 = 10x / 2 = 5x

Ratio of their money = 5x : 5x : 2x = 5 : 5 : 2

Ratio of profit = Anu : Taru : Daksh = 5 : 5 : 2  → 12 unit

Now, profit = Rs. 7200

Difference between the profits of Taru and Daksh = 7200 × (5 – 2)/12

⇒ 7200 × 3/12

⇒ Rs.1800

∴ Difference between the profits of Taru and Daksh is Rs. 1800
