Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : Rubber

CONCEPT:

  • Elastic materials are the material which after deformation can regain their original shape and size.
  • Elastic materials follow Hooke's law.
  • Elastomers: The materials that can be stretched to cause large strains are called elastomers.
    • Elastomers don't follow Hooke's law.

EXPLANATION:

  • Steel and Aluminum are elastic materials. So they will follow Hooke's law.
  • Rubber is an elastomer. So it will not follow Hooke's law.
  • So the correct answer is option 3.
