Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 28,000

Given

Amar started the business = Rs. 75,000

Bipin started the business = Rs. 1,35,000

Formula

Profit = Investment × time

Profit ratio is equal to investment ratio

Calculation

Investment Ratio (Amar : Bipin) = 75,000 : 1,35,000 = 5 : 9

Profit Ratio = 5 : 9

Profit earned by Bipin = 18,000

⇒ 9x = 18,000

⇒ x = 2000

⇒ Profit Share of Amar = 5 × 2000 = Rs. 10,000

⇒ Total profit = 18,000 + 10,000 = Rs. 28,000

∴ The total profit is Rs. 28,000
