  • He was defeated in the battle at Agra on 10 January 1713 by Farrukhsiyar, his nephew and the second son of Azim-ush-Shan, with the support of the Sayyid Brothers.
Mohammad Shah
  • He was a great patron of the arts, including musical, cultural, and administrative developments of the Mughal emperor.
  • He was known as Rangila.
  • He was given the title Abu Al-Fatah Nasir-ud-Din Roshan Akhtar Muhammad Shah and enthroned in the Red Fort.
