The expression (3.6 × 105/0.12 × 10-2) is expressed in the standard form as K × 10n. Find the value of (3K + 2n).

Correct Answer - Option 4 : Square of 5

Calculation:

(3.6 × 105/0.12 × 10-2) = (K × 10n)

⇒ (30 × 105 + 2) = (K × 10n)

⇒ (30 × 107) = (K × 10n)

⇒ (3 × 107 +1) = (K × 10n

⇒ (3 × 108) = (K × 10n

K = 3

n = 8

According to question:

(3K + 2n)

⇒ (3 × 3 + 2 × 8)

⇒ (9 + 16) = 25

⇒ (3K + 2n) = 25

⇒ 25 = 5 × 5 

∴ 25 = (5)2 = Square of 5 

The correct option is 4 i.e.Square of 5
