In a digital calculator, the digits 2, 5, 8 and 4 are not working. If it is a-6-digit calculator, what can be the maximum difference between 2 numbers (both the numbers are > 0 and are formed without repetition of any digit) using this calculator?

Correct Answer - Option 2 : 872631 

Given

Digits 2,5,8 and 4 are not working,

Repetition of digit is not allowed 

Calculation

The Largest number can be formed is 976310

and smallest number can be formed is 103679

⇒ The maximum difference = largest number - smallest number 

⇒ 976310 - 103679 = 872631

∴The maximum difference between 2 number is 872631.
