Correct Answer - Option 3 : 0

Given:

cosec A = sec(36° + 5A)

Concept used:

sec(90° - θ) = cosec θ

cos 90° = 0

Calculation:

cosec A = sec (36° + 5 A)
⇒ cosec A = sec {90° – (54°- 5A)}

⇒ cosec A = cosec (54° – 5A)

⇒ A = 54° – 5A

⇒ 6A = 54°

⇒ A = 9°

⇒ cos (10A) = cos 90° = 0

∴ The value of cos(10A) is 0.
