Given:

10 men alone can complete the work in days = 2 days

Calculation:

1 men alone can complete the work in days = 1/20 days

⇒ 5 men and 30 women together can complete the work in days = 1 day

⇒ 5 men will complete the amount of work in 1 day = (5 × 1)/20 =1/4

⇒ in 1 day 30 women will complete the work = 1 – 1/4 = 3/4

So amount of work done by 1 woman in 1 day = × 1/30 = 1/40 

⇒ 10 women will complete the amount of work 1 day = 10× 1/40 = 1/4

Hence, 10 women will complete the work in day = 4 days 

∴ 10 women will complete the whole work in 4 days.
