Correct Answer - Option 3 : 9.2 A

The correct answer is 9.2 A.

  • Given: Resistance of the electrical appliance = 25 ohms
  • A voltage or the potential difference across the electrical appliance = 230 volts
  • To find: Current passing through the electrical appliance
  • Formula: Ohms law = V=I×R
  • Where, V = potential difference I = current R = resistance
  • Substituting the values :
    • 230=I×25
    • I=230/25
    • I=9.2 Amperes
  • The current passing through the electrical appliance is equal to 9.2 Amperes.

  • Coulombs law = q=i×t
    • Where q = charge, I = current, t = time
