Correct Answer - Option 1 : 81

Given:

Ratio = 11 ∶ 9

Antecedent = 99

Concept used:

If a and b are two quantities of same kind, then the fraction a/b is called the ratio a to b.

Here, a is called antecedent and b is called consequent.

Calculation:

Let the consequent be x.

According to question

99 ∶ x = 11 ∶ 9

⇒ x = (99 × 9)/11

⇒ x = 9 × 9

⇒ x = 81

∴ The value of consequent is 81.
