Correct Answer - Option 2 : 8 : 1

Given:

(3x + 2y) : (2x – 3y) = 2 : 1

Calculation:

As,

(3x + 2y) : (2x – 3y) = 2 : 1

⇒ (3x + 2y) / (2x – 3y) = 2 / 1

⇒ (3x + 2y) × 1 = 2 × (2x – 3y)

⇒ 3x + 2y = 4x – 6y

⇒ 8y = x

∴ x : y = 8 : 1
