Correct Answer - Option 2 : 15

Given:

The three numbers are in ratio 3 : 1 : 5

Calculation:

Let these three numbers be A, B and C.

A : B : C = 3 : 1 : 5

If A = 3x, then B = x and C = 5x

Largest number is greater than smallest number by 30.

Since, largest number is greater than smallest number by 30

⇒ 5x – 3x = 2x = 30

⇒ x = 15

Second number = x = 15

∴ The second number is 15
