Correct Answer - Option 3 : 96 cm2

Given:

Sides of the triangle are 12cm, 16cm and 20cm.

Formula used:

Area of right-angled triangle = ½ × base × height

Calculation:

Here, (12)2 + (16)2 = (20)2

⇒ Given sides satisfy PGT theorem

⇒ Given triangle is right-angled triangle

∴ Area of given triangle = ½ × 12 × 16

= 96 cm2
