Correct Answer - Option 4 : 22 cm2

Given

Perpendicular of right angled triangle = Side of a square with area 121 cm2

Formula used

Area of square = (side)2

121 = (side)2

√121 = side

11 cm = side

So, perpendicular is 11 cm

Let the base and perpendicular are 4x and 11x

11x = 11

⇒ x = 1

Base = 4 × 1

⇒ 4

Perpendicular = 11 × 1

⇒ 11

Area of triangle = (1/2) × 4 × 11

⇒ 22 cm2

∴ Area of rectangle is 22 cm2
