Correct Answer - Option 2 : 6 minutes

Given:

T = 15 minutes

D = 1.8 km

S2 = S1 + 3

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation:

T = 15 minutes

⇒ T = 900 seconds

D = 1.8 km

⇒ D = 1800 m

S1 = 1800/900

⇒ S1 = 2 m/s

S2 = 2 + 3

⇒ S2 = 5 m/s

⇒ T = 1800/5

⇒ T = 360 s

⇒ T = 6 minutes

Dog will take 6 minutes to complete the walk
