Given

B can cut 112 trees in 30 minutes

A is 125% as efficient as B

Formula Used 

Work = Time × Efficiency 

Calculation

A can cut trees in 30 minutes

⇒ 125% of 112 = 140 trees 

⇒ In 30 minutes, the number of trees cut by A and B together

⇒ 112 + 140 = 252 trees

In 1 hour, they together can cut

⇒ 252 × 2 = 504 trees

The number of hours taken by them to cut 3000 trees

⇒ 3000/504

⇒ 5 hours 57 minutes

Time taken to complete the work is 5 hours 57 minutes.
