Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : 8%

Given:

 Initial total volume of mixture = 80 litre.

Formula Used

Percentage = (actual/Total) × 100

Calculations:

Volume of kerosene = 10% of 80 = (10 × 80)/100 = 8 litre

After adding 20 litre of water then,

⇒ Total mixture = 80 + 20 = 100 litre

⇒ Volume of kerosene = 8 litre

⇒ %volume of kerosene = (volume of kerosene × 100)/(Total mixture)

⇒ (8 × 100)/100

⇒ 8%

Percentage of kerosene in the new mixture is 8%
