Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : 12%

Given

Market price = Rs. 27,000

Formula used

Selling price = Market price - Discount

Discount % = (Discount/Market Price) × 100

Calculation

23,760 = 27,000 - Discount

Discount = 27,000 - 23,760

Discount = Rs. 3240

Discount% = (3240/27,000) × 100

Discount % = 12%

∴ Discount rate is 12%
