Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 450

tiGiven

Rohit invest = Rs. 10,000

Virat Invest = Rs. 12,000

Formula Used

Investment = capital × time

Profit ratio is equal to Investment ratio

Calculation

Rohit investment for 12 months = 10,000 × 12 = 120000

Virat investment for 8 months = 12000 × 8 = 96000

Investment Ratio = 120000 : 96000 = 5 : 4

Profit Ratio = 5 : 4

⇒ Total Profit = Rs 810

⇒ 9x = Rs. 810

⇒ x = 90

⇒ Profit of Rohit = 5x = 5 × 90 = Rs. 450

∴ Share of Rohit in the Profit is Rs. 450
